Guest Rules & Regulations

Welcome to Vista Del Mar. This property is the primary residence for many owners, while it is a vacation getaway for numerous others. The rights, comfort, and security of all are very important, and it is in this spirit these rules and regulations were created. Your adherence to the basic standards of conduct, common sense, and common courtesy are expected.

PROPERTY RULES:

  • UNLOADING: Luggage carts are provided for your convenience. Please do not take the carts into the units. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND RETURN THE CARTS IMMEDIATELY TO THEIR PROPER STORAGE LOCATION. Vehicles should be parked in designated parking areas immediately after unloading.

  • PARKING: RVs, boats, trailers, wave runners, etc. are strictly prohibited on the property. They will be towed.

  • BALCONIES: Escambia County Fire codes strictly prohibit fires and grills – of any kind –or fireworks – of any kind – on the balconies. Florida State Law strictly prohibits tossing anything off the balconies. Never throw cigarette butts, liquids, shells, or anything else from the balconies. Do not feed the birds from the balconies or hang towels or clothing off the balconies. Please be mindful of loud noise and music, and respect the serenity of our environment.

  • QUIET TIME: You are asked to be respectful of our hours of operation. Quiet Time starts at 10:00 PM. The Pools and Fitness Center are closed at 10 PM. In addition, no yelling, loud talking, loud music, or loud activity is permitted any time during the DAY or NIGHT. If you believe there is a dangerous situation, please call 911; Escambia County Sheriff Department should be called for major disturbances. Disturbances can result in the offender’s removal from the property, a fine, and/or arrest.

  • FITNESS CENTER: You must be 16 years of age or older to enter or use the Fitness Center. Rules for use of equipment are posted in the Fitness Center and should be reviewed before using the equipment.

  • POOLS: The Pool hours are 8 AM – 10 PM. No Lifeguard is on duty. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No glass dishware or glass containers are allowed anywhere on the pools’ decks. Beverages must be in cans or plastic bottles. Any food or beverages brought into the pool areas must be kept on the pools’ decks. Trash must be properly disposed of to insure the pool areas are clean for all patrons. Before entering the pool, always shower and always rinse off any items to help keep sand out of the pool and filtering system.

  • BEACHFRONT AREA: In order to preserve and rebuild our beaches, all persons must observe and strictly abide by all posted “stay off the dunes” signs. The beachfront area at Vista Del Mar is maintained and equipped for the enjoyment of our owners and guests. We ask that you do not leave your chairs or other personal property on the beach overnight. Tents must only be erected in designated areas behind the lounge chair sets.

  • RINSING BEACH EQUIPMENT: When leaving the beach area, please dispose of trash in provided receptacles. Also, thoroughly rinse yourselves and all beach equipment at the designated rinse stations. This helps prevents sand from getting into the pools which damages the pump equipment; this also reduces the amount of sand transferred into our hallways and condo units.

  • TRASH: Articles that do not fit into the trash chute should be taken to the dumpster or placed in provided bins in the trash chute area. Never toss loose garbage or pizza boxes into the chute. Large or noxious items such as crab shells, fish bait, disposable diapers, etc., should be double-bagged before placing them in the trash chute.

  • SKATEBOARDS, BASKETBALLS, FOOTBALLS, BASEBALLS, FRISBEES, ETC.: Skateboarding or skating is not allowed anywhere on the property – this includes our parking lots. The tossing of balls (including, but limited to, footballs, basketballs, and baseballs) or Frisbees is not allowed in the parking lots or hallways.
